Grandma Net's birthday...

Tuesday dinner...
Every Tuesday night my immediate family gets together for dinner ("Tuesday dinner" is what we call it...we're clever like that ;) This past Tuesday night we did a little swimming and made some kabobs so that I could cross another item off of our Summer Activity List. We missed Denise, Andrew, and Levi, of course, but we are looking forward to spending some good time with them at the beach in a few weeks. All in all, a picture perfect summer evening, I'd say...
Henry is learning that he can swim across the spa without any help. Once he becomes more confident in himself he will be unstoppable!...
The boys love to play with our old Fisher Price toys that my mom saved...
Since I had my camera I made sure to take some pictures of the boys with Grandma Net. It had been awhile since I'd taken any...

I love this one! We are all lucky to have Grandma Net in our lives. She is such a treasure!...

It's finished!
...I can hardly believe it. I'm a little sad it's done. It was fun working on this with my grandma. We made a good team I think. I made the mistakes, she ripped them out, I got stuck, she got me unstuck, you know, typical give & take teamwork kind of stuff ;) I guess I'll just have to start another quilt soon so I can work with her again. Hopefully next time there will be less mistakes on my part, but one can never be so sure about those kinds of things.

Somehow we were seriously short on the fabric for the binding, so we intermixed the gray dot fabric with the blue flower fabric and are pretty happy with our results.
I will put on my quilt label tomorrow.
