Dodger Game...

We took a last minute trip to the Dodger game a few weeks back.  My dad was trying to get rid of his tickets and John's basketball tournament ended earlier than he had hoped it would, so we decided to make the best of everything and head south for the game.  All went well other than an accident at the 5 and 210, which put us into the game an hour later than we had hoped, but the boys were good, so we lucked out in that department.  We actually really enjoyed ourselves and managed to stay in our seats the entire game (well, minus the first hour that we missed :(  I was thankful I wasn't nursing or chasing a toddler around the stadium like we've done the last few times we've been :)  But, of course, those days are soon to be ours again and we'll enjoy them while they're here too!

Pasadena Children's Museum & the Dodger Game...

Last Sunday we packed a picnic lunch and took the boys to the Pasadena Children's Museum and then the Dodger Game after that.  We've done this trip once before and had a great time, so we knew it would be a winner for us.  We arrived at the Dodger Game in the 5th inning so that we would be able to watch a bit of the game and then run the bases afterwards (the real highlight of the game for Henry!) Overall it was a great trip.  Tiring, but fun :)

Unfortunately, my pictures loaded backwards, so our trip pictures starts at the bottom of the post and end at the top.  Feel free to start at the bottom if you'd like :)

I actually ended up running the bases with Charlie!  The stadium workers herd you like cattle onto the field, and all of a sudden I was with Charlie and John was behind us pushing the stroller, so it just made more sense for mom to run with him than dad.  Funny...

At the new kid's play area inside the park...

More kid's play area pictures...

And these next pictures are from the children's museum.  Henry fell and needed some love from mom :)  Apparently it's still cool for 4-year olds to get hugs and kisses from mom in public!...

And, of course, just like our last visit, Henry's favorite part of the museum was the trike track...

Henry got to pet a beetle from Madagascar...

There was this "anthole" climbing tunnel thing there that Henry LOVED.  He probably climbed through it at least 20 times!

  More trikes...

And, of course, our picnic lunch...

And that's it!  A fun family day for the Wiebes :)
