I had Henry answer a few questions about his daddy.  Here is what he said...

  2. How much does your dad weigh...I don't know
  3. My dad was born in...a hospital
  4. M dad's favorite color is... white blue (he changed his mind)
  5. My dad's favorite food is...enchilladas
  6. My dad always says..."Hey both boys!"
  7. My dad's job is...to teach kids
  8. The first thing my dad does in the morning is...make me a smoothie
  9. My dad laughs when... I play hide-and-seek with him
  10. My dad's favorite place is...the high school weight room
  11. I love my dad because...he takes care of me
Happy Father's Day, John!

And Happy Father's Day to my dad and Bob.  And a very Happy First Father's Day to Uncle Andrew and Uncle Jay!

A new tradition...

I love traditions, and one of the things I love about being a mom is that I get to create family traditions. This year for Father's Day I got John, Bob, & my dad a 4-pack of Dad's Root Beer. John and I used his root beer to make root beer floats. We loved our floats so much that we think we need to do it again next year...and probably the year after that too! I think we have the beginnings of a Wiebe family Father's Day tradition :)

Father's Day...

A couple more pictures from Father's Day. I have been meaning to take a 4 generation Penner picture for oh, 13 1/2 months, but finally remembered to do so last Sunday....

And a picture of the Wiebe men...all of whom share Allen as their middle name...

Happy Father's Day, John!

We're celebrating Father's Day today, so I don't consider these pictures to be late at all :) I've already talked about John's fathering abilities here, but it's worth another mention. I think the best decision I've ever made as a mom was to marry John...and I think Henry would agree!

Happy Father's Day...

...a bit early. We celebrated Father's Day with my dad last night. Denise surprised him by making the trip down from Fresno, and Ben & I prepared the meal. Despite Henry being in a super crabby mood, we had a good time :)

Penner Family celebration...

The Penner family celebrated Father's Day (and David's graduation) with food and fun at Uncle Mark & Aunt Susanne's house. Thanks to Henry, I believe there was an even 30 people there. As is usually the case, a good time was had by all.
