Finger food...

I'm just beginning to allow Henry a bit more freedom and experimentation during mealtime. He is now experimenting with picking up and eating small chunks of banana from his tray as well as (sometimes) holding onto his own bowl and utensils. I only let him do this prior to bath time since he makes such a big mess, but he sure does get a kick out of it.

The food processor...

...is my new best friend. Lots of food processing going on in the kitchen these days. Tonight I made Henry some more food: apples, yams, & butternut squash. Yams are an old favorite, but we'll see how he takes to the apples & squash in the next few days...Hopefully he'll like them. I'll keep you posted.
