We're Back!

Well, after 10 different states, 4 days with John's very gracious cousin David, his wife Charis, and their 2 girls Charlotte & Laurel, 2 different Mennonite Your Way stays, and thousands of miles in a sage green Nissan Sentra, John and I have returned from our 11-day East Coast sabbatical.

The above picture is John filling the car with gas in New Hampshire. Yes, that's right, New Hampshire. What were we doing in New Hampshire you might ask? The answer to that question is...filling the car with gas! We decided that we were just too close to the NH/MA border to pass up the chance to add another state to our "Have Seen" list, and because of that, we drove there simply for the aforementioned reason.

The trip went better than we could have expected. We had no traveling issues, and we came back to a house that was exactly as we left it...no burglaries! (Which, as many of you may know, is quite an accomplishment for the John Wiebe household) We attribute our lack of thievery to the padlocks we put on our fence gates & to the timers we put on our lamps (one in the front portion of the house & the other in the back) Between the hours of 8pm-11pm our house looked deceivingly lived in.

Following this initial report I will post pictures and commentary on our escapades in a hopefully somewhat chronological order, so stay tuned.

Thanks for coming. It's good to hear that you came home to an intact house. We look forward to more pictures.
