April Fools' Day 2001-
John puts multiple alarm clocks under Katie's dormitory bunk and sets them to sound at approximately 2am. He feels confident that Katie, although a 1st-year college student, will be sound asleep as she finds it difficult to stay awake past the witching hour. John, and roommate Ken, hide outside the window of Warkentine One and can faintly hear the alarm sounding and 2 girls groggily trying to problem solve. Katie, being the astute 19 year-old that she was, discovered the alarm clocks with assitance from roommate (and cousin), Julie. Noise was made between the two girls about a return prank but nothing ever came of it. The only thing that came of the April Fools' Day shenanigan was a dating relationship which began a mere 22 days after the alarm clocks went off, and as we all know has now blossomed into a marriage for the prankster and the prankee.
Despite the crackerjack prank-planning by John, this one puts him to shame. He found the video on deadspin.com and we immediately agreed that it was blogworthy. Please be advised that the language content is neither endorsed nor supported by the author. Enjoy...

Shut up - that was possibly the greatest prank ever. I'd like to know how those relationships are surviving after such an ordeal (she looked mad!)
If you click on the deadspin link there is an interview with the pranker. He talks about the prankee and his girlfriend's relationship.
Also, prank wars 1 through 5 are also good but are no where near as awesome as this one.
Yeah, John and I watched Prank War 5, but you're right Jimmie, nothing like Prank War 6. I can't imagine what the 7th installment will look like. Is it even possible to top the fake Yankee Stadium proposal? I guess we'll see.
