When John has the camera...

I received a new camera for my birthday last year...my old one didn't have a zoom. Now that our camera has up-close capabilities John finds it necessary to use them every time he has the camera. I'll show you what I mean...

Deep in thought during our Mexican Train marathon

I must explain this picture...I was making a main dish that required a large amount of chopped onions. My allergies were already acting up and the onion fumes did me no favors. Instead of giving up on the recipe I found an old pair of my swimming goggles and gave them a new use in the kitchen. Result: finely chopped onions and perfectly moist eyes.
