Project: Julie's Pillow

I finished this pillow about a week ago, but was unable to post pictures in order to ensure that Christmas surprises were kept. I made this pillow for my cousin Julie. I cut 4 triangles, all with the stripes running parallel to the hypotenuse of the triangle (the sides). I then sewed the triangles together and the fabric stripes combined to form the fantastic square pattern that you see below.



The picture below is the inside of the pillow front, prior to sewing on the backing. It was too pretty ignore so I had to snap a picture. I'm pleased with the way it all turned out. Hopefully it looks ok on Julie's couch too.
