Although I was stuck at home sick, I managed to wander into the sewing room and start another project. I decided recently that my first owl bag was cute, but I could do so much better with the sewing and applique work if I made another. I used a very short zig-zag stitch on the first one, and it is already coming apart in some places, so, unfortunately, the bag is being placed on the permanent disabled list. However, never one to waste anything, I'm going to frame my first bag (not quite sure how yet) and hang it in my sewing room as a reminder of my first solo pattern experience. It will serve as a constant reminder of how far my skills have come. Here is my second bag-making experience.
The pattern I used...My goal this summer is the make the actual quilt. There's just something about those owls that I love.
