Although no one present was under the age of 22, we quite enjoyed the egg dying portion of Grandma's Easter Party. After we feasted on the traditional fare:
hotdogs & deviled eggs, followed closely by the most delicious strawberry shortcake, we made our way to the kitchen table for our egg dying "
Eggstravaganza" (I had to throw that word in somehow). A pictorial synopsis is presented below:

I do love monograms...even on my Easter eggs!

Me, Jill, Allie, Sharon, and Grandma Donna

Jay trying to get his egg in our picture. We wouldn't have been so opposed to this idea had it not been the UGLIEST egg that we had ever seen.

Sharon & I tied for first place in the "Best-Looking Egg of the Day" category. My egg had a warm color fade going on, while Sharon's was a hand-painted masterpiece.
