Denise's "friend" party...

I recall my younger years when I begged to have a "friend" birthday party along with the usual "family" festivities. This year, Denise threw her own "friend" party. It was a sassy Strawberry Jam making affair. Denise was the only one who had ever made strawberry freezer jam, so we relied on her expertise to see our way through. Despite Denise's adeptness, we fumbled our way through the process, but ended up with, what we think, are some pretty delicious looking jars of strawberry jam (although truth-be-told, I'm pretty sure there is twice as much sugar in the jam than strawberries)...
