Amy Butler's new Birdie Sling pattern! I've been itching to find a new tote pattern that was both big enough for all of my junk, and cute enough to showcase my newest fabric aquisitions. Now that I've found it, all I have to do is wait for it to be released...
This has summer sewing project written all over it.

Katie, I'd love to borrow that pattern this summer and make a bag from it. I was drooling over that green and yellow dot fabric at Strawberry Patches this weekend. Alas, I did not buy it because I already had too many projects going on. Maybe I'll go back and buy some for that bag...
That bag is SO cute. I am now without a purse since my Coach from last year is teeny tiny and doesn't hold enough, and because I've come accustomed to freeloading and using Sam's diaper bag as my personal crap basket. Hmmm... maybe I'll get adventurous and attempt to sew from a pattern this summer.
16 more days of school! :)
We should all sew a bag from this pattern and post our finished products...and yes, actually 15 1/2more days of school, (it sounds sooo much better than 16). I can't even wait.
This is such a great pattern! I fell in love with it on sight, too.
