Father's Day with Dad...

With Denise's relocation came a first for the Fast family. A Father's Day celebration that was enjoyed prior to the actual June 15th designation. We enjoyed a steak dinner prepared for us by brother, Ben, which he cooked using my dad's Father's Day gift, a new BBQ/smoker (not exactly sure what this means, but the meat was fantastic!). As family roles shift with the onset of adulthood, I think I've grown to appreciate both my dad and my brother more. I can fight with them more fiercly than with anyone else, but it's only because we all possess many of the same strong-willed and passionate character traits. Either way, Father's Day was a good day to appreciate dad and I think we would all agree that the food and fellowship that night were top notch.
