Project: Ugly Plant Removal #1

I can't believe I got this stump out! It's been a thorn in my side since the day we moved it. It took 2 hours of shoveling, axing (is that a word), flooding, and pulling, but I got the thing out. Whew. Only one more large, ugly plant left to go before I can start thinking about where to go next with the yard. My muscles ache, but I feel triumphant, and I've got a nice trophy to prove it.

Doesn't this look like some sort of creature from a science fiction movie?
