San Francisco part I...preparation

John and I met our dear friends Derek & Julie in San Francisco this past weekend. They drove south from Grants Pass, OR & we journeyed north. A tent was our lodging of choice for the 2-day affair. We had never camped before so we were a bit nervous about this new sleeping arrangement. To quell our fears, we set up our tent in the backyard last Wednesday night before we left. We were pleased with our success and greatly anticipated using our new tent set-up skills at the Petaluma KOA campground. (Trip debriefing will require multiple posts, so stay tuned...)
