*Sigh*...

...can it never be windy on a school day again? Oh, and if I'm busy putting in weather requests, I might also add that maybe we could never have a bad air quality alert again, at least not when I'm responsible for 31, 5th graders. Not allowing 10-year olds the pleasure of burning off accrued energy is literally a recipe for disaster. Maybe tomorrow will be better...yeah, October 31st sounds like it will be a pretty calm day...

Today was horrible. I had an SST during my first recess, and didn't get to use the bathroom. Then dashed to get my lunch so I could hurry back to my class to be with my kids, then missed last recess. At one point, as I was hunched over my tuna sandwich trying to hurridly eat, I almost cried. For the billionth time a kid came up to me to ask me a ridiculous question, and I said "Can't I just eat my sandwich!? Seriously! I'm starving!" They backed off a bit after that. Don't they know you can't come between a starving woman and her sandwich?!

I hate bad weather days.

Ok, your day was worse than mine. I hate the rush that SST's & IEP's bring to your day...only 7 school days until Veteran's Day. Hang in there.
