In the Kitchen...

...with John.
John was a master chef tonight. He cooked german sausage, made french toast, & then made a double batch of chocolate chip cookies to take to work tomorrow. He even used the kitchenaid mixer for the first time ever. He's come a long way since that pancake/muffin top pan incident at Mark & Cindy W.'s house many years ago.

Boy am I impressed! Of course I somehow knew making cookies was in his blood since he grew up sharing the joy of cookie dough with his mom :)

I'm very impressed. Whenever Mark says, "Hey, let's make cookies!" that means "Hey, please go to the kitchen and make me cookies" or "Hey, buy me a tub of ready made cookie dough so that I can eat easily baked fresh cookies every night...." :)

Okay, and when you say he made german sausage, like he heated up some pre-made german sausage, or do you've got like a sausage making machine in your garage or something??? Cuz I'm pretty sure I'm going to be knocking on your door to get me a roll of that if you've got production going or something... :)

Christie- I definately did NOT mean that John actually MADE the sausage from scratch. He simply put the pre-made coil (from the SMBC youth group sausage sale) into the oven at 350 for an hour. But, that's good enough for me. I don't think we have enough space to store the sausage making equipment, but thanks for asking :)
