Mom, Denise, & I ventured south to visit 2 places that we love: flea markets & ikea. The
Rose Bowl Flea Market was the first stop on our trip, and although not nearly as endearing as Alameda, it was still filled with wonderful junk & treasures. After the market we headed to Burbank for the requisite socal shopping stop at ikea. A good day to be sure. I'm hoping a summertime visit to ikea & Alameda are in the cards for me, but I guess for now I'll just be thankful that I was able to sneak this trip in prior to April.
I'm going to try and convince my dad to make me a metal top like this for the last old kitchen cabinet that I have stored in the garage. It has patio potting shed written all over it...

Wow! You have some great finds there! wouldn't it be lovely if we had infinite amounts of money and space to bring all those home when we came across things like that?
