...and no, it wasn't for me this time.
His good friend, Jimmie, and his family came this weekend for a visit. As is usually the case when Jimmie comes to town, the boys scheduled a Wiffleball game. Unfortunately, Jimmie forgot to bring his handmade strike zone, so John set out to create his own. The boys have come to realize that a strike zone is a crucial component to any game. John's Wiffleball strike zone is shown below. It's a thing of beauty, really. It is made of pvc pipe & chicken wire, with a hole cut out to designate "the sweet spot". He's already found an acceptable bullpen in our backyard, so he's been practicing his pitching form. So, Wifflers beware...John is going to be one dangerous pitcher when you encounter him next.
