Pismo...

3 families united at the Penner beach house for the weekend. One by way of Kettleman City, another traveled through the great Blackwell's Corner, and the guest of honor himself, through the traffic riddled freeways of Santa Barbara. We gathered together to celebrate the great Nate's 30th birthday. And what a celebration it was. We ate good food, threw the aerobie, built sandcastles, gathered shells, watched The Tale of Desperaux, played Ticket to Ride, took naps, woke up in the wee hours of the morning to tend to Henry's lack of sleep (or maybe that was just John and me...), and generally had an all around great time. Happy 30th Nathan!

Our weekend in pictures...

We brought the felt playhouse with us. Unfortunately, the beach house card table is quite a bit smaller than ours at home so the house was a bit saggy...but definitely functional.

Not sure if I've mentioned this here or not, but Henry has grown quite fond of sticks...

Thanks for the fun everyone!
