Our first family outing...

Last Sunday evening we ventured out on our first family outing around town. We used our double stroller for the first time and headed to Uncle Mark & Aunt Susanne's house for dinner. Afterward, we walked to the high school and enjoyed the community concert on the grass outside the auditorium. This is such a great little FREE concert. Lots of local musicians get together to play, and it is so much fun to listen to. I also like that we can take the boys to a great concert where they hear the music but can run around and play while listening to it. So fun!

The band...

We didn't bring any balls along, so thankfully Henry was able to borrow a soccer ball from Uncle Mark & Aunt Susanne's house...

(Gotta love the shoes on the wrong feet...there's something so endearing about it to me :)

And Charlie enjoyed the music as well, not so much as a peep out of him throughout the entire concert. He enjoyed listening to the music from his perch on Grandma Sharon's lap...

Yeah for small towns and the simple pleasures they offer!
