Uncle Jay, Aunt Jill, and cousin Ruby came for a visit this weekend. They came to meet Ruby's new best friend, but we got to spend some time with them too, which is always a treat. I love pictures of me with my cousins when we were younger, so I try to get as many of the boys with their cousins as well (boys probably don't care about such things, but that's ok :)...
Grandma Sharon reading to the boys. Very cute!...
Charlie holding Ruby's hand. Blurry but still sweet...
Henry holding Ruby...
The cousins...
I love Charlie leaning into Henry in this one (although I think he was arching his back to get away, but I'm pretending that he was leaning in to give him some love)...
And here, I think Charlie's biting Henry's shoulder, but I'm going to pretend he's giving him a kiss...
Today Grandma Sharon took Henry on the train to Fresno to visit Aunt Jill and Ruby. I must say that not having to listen to Henry scream "NO, CHARLIE!" at the top of his lungs every few minutes was absolutely glorious. I always feel sorry for Charlie since Henry constantly takes all of the good toys away from him, so today, while Henry was gone, you better believe I let Charlie live it up. I let him play with all of Henry's "special cars" and let him read all of Henry's favorite board books. I think this firstborn mom is starting to identify with the plight of a younger sibling...
