Henry says...

Henry's been saying some funny stuff lately...

We were at the dentist last week (I need to post on this soon) and he talked the hygenist's ear off while she was cleaning my teeth.  Here is one thing he said to her...

"You should really get a minivan.  They are AWESOME!.  They have sliding doors.  We have one."

Today he woke up from his nap and walked into the kitchen where he found me unloading the dishwasher.  This is how our conversation went:

Me: Hey, Henry!  You're awake.
Henry: Mom, can I wipe the table?
Me: Why?
Henry: Because I just want to be your helper and help you with all your jobs around the house.  And when I'm done wiping the table I can sweep the floor for you too.
**Not sure what happened during that nap, but hey, I'll take it!

Not sure what he was talking about, but something warranted this comment from him:

"Ugh, that is the disgusting worst!" (He's really into the word disgusting lately).

Today he told me this:

"Mom, I like this movie, it suits me."

We are starting to talk about Henry's 4th birthday party.  He wants to have a baseball party and have a big baseball game.  We were talking about who we would invite and who would play in the baseball game when he said this to me:

"Mom, you can be Don Mattingly (the Dodger's manager) because you aren't a very good pitcher."

And lastly there's this gem:

Henry: Mom, when I grow up I'm going to get married.
Me: Oh really?  Who are you going to marry?
Henry: You!

What a hoot! Is he inviting people his age to e on his team or grown ups? I'm getting this mental image of Henry surrounded by his not nearly as fanatic friends not at all cooperating with his coaching.

Its only enough to make me chuckle because I'm in Kansas and not trying to make the event everything he dreamed/planned.

I can say this because at my 4th birthday my mother had to ask my friends to whisper sing happy birthday and finger clap because they were "too loud."
