Life after Christmas...

We haven't been doing much lately.  When I ask Henry what he wants to do he tells me, "Mom, I just want to stay at home, stay in my pj's, make a big mess, and play with my toys all day!"  So that's pretty much what we've been doing give or take a few days here and there :)  John's spent the days after Christmas & New Year's coaching lots of basketball games, but we didn't make it to any of them because they were either a. too early (8am on a foggy morning...no thanks!) or b. during naptime.  It's been nice to be home!  Here are a few pictures of our days...

The latches board from Grandpa Royce & Grandma Gail has been a hit with both boys...

We got lots of peanuts in our "toot" bags (these are little treat bags filled with peanuts, an apple, an orange, and candy that are given out at Mennonite churches on Christmas Eve) so John taught the boys the finer points of cracking the peanuts open and eating them...

I've spent lots of time after Christmas taking down decorations, cleaning, purging and rearranging furniture.  I'm not quite done yet, but I'm getting there.  I thought I fixed this picture, but apparently not, so it's super dark, oh well...

The boys spent lots of time spreading out all of their vehicles on the carpet and making a mess, but it was a good mess because it kept them busy ALL day :)

I've decided that since I spend literally half my day at the kitchen sink that it needs to look cute.  Here it is in progress...

And we took some pictures for our thank you cards...

So that's what the Wiebes have been up to lately!
