Happy Birthday John!

We celebrated John's birthday yesterday.  It was a work day, so we celebrated at each of our 3 meals together.  I decorated the house and we had all of John's favorite foods.

The boys made really BIG birthday cards for daddy...

Then, when John came home for lunch, Henry had the idea to surprise him by hiding underneath all of the couch cushions behind the couch.  Henry got a huge kick out of this...

 For lunch we had Brookside Deli sandwiches (a TBA for John...his absolute favorite!) and BBQ chips.  We ate outside on the patio where we hung up the boys' birthday cards.  Since John had sports awards last night, lunch was our big celebration...

 For dessert we had leftover eclair...

And we celebrated with Bob, Sharon, Jay, Jill, and Ruby the night before:
