Another weekend at the beach...

John and I went to the beach this weekend as a last vacation before basketball season starts October 15th. We enjoyed the traditional walks on the beach, watching lots of sports and HGTV, and of course the usual meandering window shopping for Katie. I completed two projects at the beach house: a pillow for our bed and an album of our pictures from our East Coast Trip. I lack expertise in both sewing and scrapbooking, but I feel the projects were accomplished with a relative amount of polish and finesse.

Fabric that I bought at "Quiltin' Cousins" on Pomeroy Avenue in Pismo. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but it was just too cute to pass up. (Never mind that I haven't sewn anything beyond a pillow...)
