I just realized that I never posted any pictures of the pillow that I made Denise for Christmas. It turned out super cute and may have inspired an infusion of green houndstooth print into her decorating scheme. That remains to be seen...

I LOVE this pillow! I think F (as well as W of course) is a very nice looking monogram. I definitely benefited from becoming an F, not only in a cuter monogram but up the alphabetic scale as well. V just wasn't cutting it.
Yeah, I sort of sacrificed a bit by becoming a "W" (only in letter choice, of course, not in spouse). I make up for this by insisting that in my classroom we always start everything alphabetical with the last letter of the alphabet rather than the first. I have to say though I love the symmetry of a "W". I'm a big symmetry person...
