This was my first sewing project with a pattern and I love the outcome. A shout out to Grandma Net and her sewing stash for the 30's fabric combinations as well as Denise for her moral support. 3 Cheers for homemade goodness!
The finished bag
My sweet little owl
The handles match the outer fabric square (a leftover piece of fabric from a "red" quilt my grandma made)
I'm drooling and jealous... that would be the perfect little tote to stash my Bible Study supplies in... did you do that off of a pattern or just make it up as you go???
Alas, I have very little to show for my two week Christmas break. A certain little baby boy has kept me distracted and I've hardly turned on my machine except to whip out his little taggie blanket... ah, and I had such grand plans of curtains and pillows and blankets galore....
