Project: Tea Towel Tote
So I saw this bag on this website and quickly remembered that I had these exact towels that were just sitting in a drawer, unused. I was whisked into a project frenzy and tried my hand at recreating the bag using fabrics that I had lying around the sewing room. The first 2 pictures are my inspiration pictures. The next 4 are my bag. I think it turned out rather well.

This is so cute! What a great idea. Where did you get this tea towel?
I found these tea towels a few years ago at K-Mart. They are from the Martha Stewart line, which has alot of cute stuff sometimes. I haven't looked recently, but I love the sewing potential that tea towels have. After discovering their many uses I think I might visit the Wasco K-Mart this weekend...
Katie, you are the next Martha Stewart.... except for the jail part. I am so impressed. That bag turned out really cute. I need to come take some more lessons from you. Maybe this monday!
