Unfortunately, this wasn't so much the case. Somehow, while we were blocking all of the lower entrances, the dog managed to sneak back under the house! We realized he had done this when he started barking frantically below our kitchen window. We rushed outside, thinking he would be waiting for us by his former entrance, but not so, this dog had gotten back under the house, and was barking because he was now trapped underneath. UGH! We left the crawl space doors open and went to bed, absolutely sick of being bothered by this dog and his dwelling difficulties. We departed for Reedley on Saturday and left one of the openings uncovered as we didn't want to trap the dog under the house while we were gone, so we made no dog progress yesterday. We're hoping, while we're home this afternoon, that we'll manage to coax the dog from underneath the house and be able to board up all of the entrances without much difficulty. I'll keep you posted.
The good new is, John has been convinced he's been hearing noices underneath our bathtub for about a month now, but has not been able to find anything underneath the house until now. So, despite the general annoyance of the situation, it has been a bit of vindication for John and his claims of noises heard.
