Valance...

I chopped the bottoms off of these curtains and saved the remnants so that I might one day make a valance for the window above our little table & chairs set. I made the valance a few weeks ago and it was so b-o-r-i-n-g! A white valance above white blinds is a very bad thing for me. So, I left my weak attempt up for awhile and today decided to fix it. I sewed a band of Amy Butler fabric (leftover from my kitchen valance) on the bottom and presto! a quick fix that looks pretty sweet. I couldn't be more pleased.
