We haven't been home much this spring break, but we've sure had a lot of fun! We traveled to LA last weekend with the Franz family to make visits to ikea & the Long Beach flea market (Charis and me) and play at Redondo Beach and a neighborhood park (John, David, & the kids). No pictures of those outings, but after that portion of our trip we attended a Dodger game with Nathan & David. It was our first game of the season, and although Henry ended his 2-game (while in attendance since birth) grand-slam streak, we did get to witness a walk-off game winning home run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Maybe Henry should be appointed to interim manager of the Dodgers, things sure go well when he's in the stadium :)
We used my family's tickets so we enjoyed our seats behind home plate (although we moved back a few rows to be in the shade)...
The last few innings, however, were spent in the top deck seats because it allowed us more room to move around with Henry. He actually loved the top deck because it provided him with a view of the parking lot and the INSANE amount of police cars (with flashing lights) circling the stadium. He now associates baseball games with sirens and makes siren noises anytime we talk to him about the Dodger Game.
We figured this would probably be the only time we'd watch a Dodger game as a family this season, and certainly the last time we'd watch a game as a family of 3, so we took advantage of the opportunity. John is looking forward to the day when he can take Henry (and baby #2, whether boy or girl) to a game on his own :)

Looks like a blast. I have to make sure I get Ben to take me to one. P.S. love the new header picture!
