A day at home...

John's been very busy with basketball these past few weeks, which means that I've had the boys by myself from breakfast until bedtime. It's actually gone pretty well. I'm becoming quite fond of the powerful productivity combination of video watching for Henry and ergo carrying for Charlie whilst making dinner. Without the videos and the carrier I'd be struggling!

I've also had a marginal amount of success with getting Charlie to nap in his carseat underneath the microwave vent in the kitchen...

Henry's been waffling back and forth between needing a nap and not, so some days I just let him stay up if he seems to be in good spirits. On this particular day we took advantage of Charlie's nap to spend some time together. I did some sewing while Henry practiced his "tutting" (all of his hard "k" sounds are said with a "t" sound, so "tutting" = cutting). Henry literally spent over an hour at the kitchen table cutting up any piece of paper I would give him. He is obsessed with his scissors right now. They are the first thing he asks for when he wakes up from a nap :)

Fun Times!
