Charlie's dedication...

We dedicated Charlie to the Lord at church on December 14th (I'm a wee bit behind on my posting :). It was such a special day! (At our church a child dedication represents a commitment on the part of the parents and congregation to raise a child to love and fear the Lord. The child ultimately makes their own salvation decision). All of the people that we loved joined us at church and then we had a special lunch afterwards to celebrate Charlie. As I looked around after church at all of our family members (great-grandparents, grandparents, siblings, siblings-in-law), I really felt very blessed. Not only do we love our families, but we really like them too. And they love our boys which is the biggest blessing of all.
