Grandma Donna's Easter Party...

We attended Grandma Donna's annual Easter party last Saturday and boy was it fun! The kids decorated rice krispie treat eggs, had an egg hunt, and listened to Grandma Donna tell the Easter story. A highlight for Henry was playing "Monster in the Forest" with Uncle Brian and Uncle David (not sure what this game was all about, but it sure was fun for Henry!). After we left, Henry asked when we were going to have another Easter party :)

After the egg hunt Grandma Donna told the Easter story. She put different storytelling items in the eggs and had the kids open them as she discussed the importance of each item. Very cute...




After the Easter story we ate our traditional hot dog lunch and then went home for naps. A very fun day. This is a special tradition for our family and we are glad that Grandma Donna has continued it for the Great-grandkids :)
