A shepherd boy & a star...

Our church's children's Christmas program will be held next weekend, so in preparation, last week in Sunday School the boys had to dress up in their costumes and take a few pictures.  Henry was a shepherd and Charlie a star (unfortunately no pictures of Charlie in his star costume because he would not let go of mama...however, this was one day prior to his croup diagnosis, so I suppose that's forgivable :)  I just think kids dressed up to tell the nativity story is completely adorable!

Henry was super excited about being a shepherd and holding a staff...

9-month old Kate is the youngest baby in the church, so she won the role of baby Jesus by default...

A group of shepherds...

 The whole group sans costumes...

My boys...

Practicing their songs on the grass...

I always find it amusing when random church pictures surface from my childhood, so maybe my boys will feel the same way some day and get a kick out of seeing these pictures.  Or maybe they'll just be annoyed at me for taking them (probably more likely ;)

Cute pics! I think Kate wins the award for most uncomfortable, biggest, most non-Jewish looking baby Jesus.
