John catered to my decorating whims again today. He hung the mirror that matches our bedroom set (but can't be used anywhere in the bedroom) above our new sideboard. While I was snapping pictures of John working he commented that my picture taking was much akin to the WWII photographers who sat idly by, taking pictures of wounded soldiers, instead of actually doing something to help them improve their condition. His point was well taken, I quickly put down the camera and helped him without complaint.
The mirror in all her glory...I opted to raise the height of the mirror above the sideboard so that it would sit approximately 6 inches above the height of the bookshelves. I thought it would make the room look a bit loftier. I'm satisfied with the outcome although I don't know that the room looks any loftier than before. oh well.
