Sunday was a special day. It was the day that John and I dedicated Henry to the Lord. Baby dedication is a promise on our part, and the part of our families, and church family, to raise Henry in a way that will be pleasing to God. It is the recognition of our desire to faithfully follow Jesus as we raise him, with the hope that one day he will accept His gift of salvation. Special day indeed.
We were thankful that he did not grab Pastor Pat's microphone, but opted for the glasses instead.
One of my favorite pictures of the day. Shelly made his little Baby Bubble dedication outfit and I did the embroidery on the button flap (is that the right word? I'm drawing a blank). I'll post a picture of the entire outfit later, but you can see a bit of the embroidery in this picture. Cutest outfit ever!

Henry in John's dedication outfit.
It did fit (although we couldn't fully button the shirt, but you can't tell)
In John's dedication outfit with Bob & Sharon...crazy that John wore that outfit once too.

It was a great day. It was especially great because Denise & Andrew, Jay & Jill, and G. G. Sue made the trip from Fresno to be there. Which of course means a lot. Thanks to Uncle Andrew for the great pictures. I am forever indebted.
