The Peddler's Fair...

The boys and I met my mom, Kelly, Denise, and Levi at the Peddler's Fair last Saturday. I think we all had a good time. Grandma Gail mostly spent her time digging in the dirt & playing pretend baseball with Henry, while Kelly, Denise, and I shopped. We all found a few treasures. Here are mine...

New entry table. I've been in need of a new entry table and was so glad I found one, and at only $20 I felt like it was a pretty good deal. Denise and I were doubting its ability to fit into my car, but luckily, just as we were ready to admit table transport defeat, Cousin Charis drove up in her car and was willing to take the table home for me. Crisis averted. I might paint it a navy or peacock blue, and will move the mirror and frame on top of it, but for now, we're just enjoying it as is...

I also got the letter's "A" and "E" for Charlie's name. Now all I have left are the "C" and "L". Anyone have a good vintage letter source?

And lastly, I got a new stool for the boys' bathroom. It was $10 and was already padded and covered in oilcloth. Cute and functional. Perfect for giving baths. It's already being put to good use...

I can't wait to go back again next year!

Hey Katie - I'm in Carpinteria and saw some awesome letters in one of the antique stores the other day. I'll go back tomorrow and check for C and L.
