We spent the last week of July/first week of August in Carpinteria with my parents and Denise, Andrew, and Levi. We had such a great time together! Our days went like this: wake up, eat breakfast, boys watch cartoons with Grandpa Royce & Grandma Gail, go to the beach, swim in the pool, eat lunch, take naps, go back to the beach, swim in the pool some more, baths, eat dinner, play inside, go to bed. Repeat. Every day. It was perfect! Here's my photo dump. I will let the pictures (mostly) speak for themselves:
Henry LOVED the swimming pool! One of the pools was only 3 1/2 feet deep, so he was able to walk/swim around the entire thing which he thought was the best! He even learned how to do a somersault underwater...he's getting so big! :)
We worked on potty training Charlie while we were there. He had maybe 5 accidents the whole time and even pooped in the toilet a couple of times! Pretty successful for a vacation, I'd say...
We watched lots of Dodger games!
And, of course, the boys drank smoothies every morning :)
Love these pictures of Henry...
I took pictures of the condo we stayed in because it was just too cute!
And that concludes our 2013 Carpinteria trip recap. We can't wait for next year!
