Luke: Week 30...

30-week highlights:
  • Luke is a little boy with opinions.  I would say he's a pretty happy, smiley little guy, but he definitely has his ideas about when he wants to be held, go outside, or eat.  If you acommodate him he's great, if you don't, then lots of fussiness.
  • The days of putting Luke down in one spot and getting something done elsewhere are OVER.  It has to happen sometime I guess :)
  • Luke still isn't showing much interest in solid foods, which is fine.
  • Luke can use his upper body strength to pull himself to standing.  He doesn't spread out his stance far enough to actually stay standing, but he can get himself up.  Pretty soon he'll figure it out and be up for good.
  • For what it's worth, Luke seems more social than Henry and Charlie.  I suspect that probably has something to do with being the 3rd child.  He is very easily distracted by his brothers and absolutely cannot eat if anyone else is around.
  • We are still waiting for him to take off with the crawling.  He is just SO CLOSE!
